Path of Hope
Offering Hope to others when all may seem hopeless. . .one person at a time.
Besides can and boxed food, we also
receive fresh vegetables.
Path of Hope distributes food, commodities,
and clothing every Wednesday (in the
Winter from 3:30-5:30 p.m. - in the Summer
from 10:30 a.m. - Noon).

Path of Hope works with love offerings of
money or food, clothing, and commodities.
Many volunteers are needed!

Maybe you're not available to help us on
Wednesday , when our food distribution is
open.  NO PROBLEM!!  You can make just
as vital a contribution from behind the
scenes.  HOW?  By praying for us regularly.
Mailing in a check.  Donating that wing chair
that's been sitting in your garage for years.
All without leaving the comfort of your own
home!  We will come and pick the item(s) up!
POH Resolutions for 2012

1.  to keep on doing what we're doing:
meeting the physical and spiritual needs
of Pahrump's disadvantaged citizens.

2.  to serve them, befriend them, pray for
them.  Directing their feet onto a path of
hope

3.  to seek opportunities to tell
good-hearted people what we do and how
they can be part of this great undertaking.

In November of 2010, Nye County
ranked FOURTH on the list of
economically distressed counties.

Nye County's unemployment rate is
at 17.2% OR  HIGHER!!
According to Bill Verbeck, Executive
Director of EDEN, Inc., the economic
developement authority for Nye
County, "It's closer to 22 %.  That's
with the projections as people come
off the unemployment rolls.  It
doesn't mean people have a job, it
just means they're people without
their unemployment checks."
